May keeps moving forward...
We are looking forward to an excellent 46th LD Meeting on Wednesday, May 15th, our large Annual Endorsement Meeting on May 19th, and our inaugural Mystery FUNdraiser on May 31st!
Tonight, May 15th, Our featured program will be a fun round robin with Democratic candidates - We have invited all the declared candidates for any office wholly or partially within the 46th to attend and give us their best two minutes on any topic, then they will draw from the Bowl O' Questions!
We will also be hearing from Lake Forest Park and Kenmore candidates for the first time this year!
We will be considering three Resolutions at this meeting. One concerns heavy rail development, one concerns gas development, and the last is advocating against Time Eyman's I-976. Don't miss reading about the three resolutions for tonight which were published in the May Demogram!

The Environmental Caucus will meet in the same location at the Elliott Bay Brewery at 5:30pm, so feel free to join them early!
We will have social hour at 6:30pm, and the meeting will begin at 7pm. We will be meeting at the Elliott Bay Brewery, in the downstairs Cascade meeting room. (location details below)

Several transit routes serve the intersection of 125th and Lake City Way, there is space to secure bikes and a large parking lot behind the building, with the entrance off of 30thAve, across from Bill Pierre Licensing.
Fully ADA Accessible, no step entrances, and please ask the staff for access to the elevator.
We will have our popular Dinner before the Meeting buffet available for $10 for those who wish to participate, with a $3 option for anyone who just wants non-alcoholic beverages. Beer, ale, cider, and wine are available for purchase on site. Dinner buffet starts at 6:30 for the social hour. If you aren't hungry, feel free to join the conversation during the social hour anyway!
ENDORSEMENT MEETING, Sunday, May 19th! 11:00am
Nathan Hale High School Performing Arts Center Theatre
Our endorsement meeting will be held on Sunday, May 19th, at the beautiful Nathan Hale High School Theatre, located at (click on address for map). The theatre is located at the far west end of the campus - follow the signs we will put out. Bikes may be secured next to the theatre, Metro Transit route 65 serves the high school on 35th Avenue, and ADA Parking is located in the lot immediately adjacent to the theatre.
We will move through the races as expeditiously as possible, and arrange tally order and speakers to minimize any delays, but please be prepared for a three hour to three and a half-hour meeting. We will have beverages and snacks for sale in the lobby, but if you are diabetic, or have other special snack needs, please pack a lunch or bring your own snacks. To vote, you must have been a member for at least 21 days prior to the meeting, or April 28th. However, if you were a member last year, under our bylaws, you may renew your membership up to the date of the meeting. If you have not renewed your membership for 2019, and were a member previously, now is the time - please scroll to the bottom of this message for a link to do so.

MYSTERY at the OFFICERS CLUB! 6pm, May 31st!
Join our VIP "victim" King County Executive Dow Constantine, and a host of VIP "suspects" at our inaugural mystery night FUNdraiser to support canvass-building and GOTV activities in the 46th District, and in targeted, selected action days throughout the region.
We will be enjoying the Art Deco environment of the original Officers Club which served the Sand Point Naval Air Station, which is now Magnusen Park.
Enjoy delicious food, an intriguing interactive mystery, a glass of spirits, and the company of sparkling Democrats raising money to grow our GOTV efforts on behalf of Democrats in 2019 and 2020!
