If you’re anything like me, watching the news these days makes me wonder what I can do here at home to make sure Washington remaining a safe haven for liberal ideas and an example for the country of progressive policies in action. Control of Olympia is anything but certain, with only a one seat majority in the state senate and a two seat majority in the state house of representatives and vulnerable Democrats running for their political lives in tough primary battles in purple districts. But there is allot to be hopeful for! These LD races can often come down to razor thin margins, which means that if we put in the effort, and push at the grassroots level, these are all winnable races.

So what can we do in the fighting 46th? It’s time to go on offense! We are headed to 4 nearby LDs to help turn out their voters, support awesome local Democrats, and maybe flip a couple seats BLUE!

• Saturday, July 21st- 47th LD, Kent/Covington

• Sunday, July 22nd- 48th LD, Redmond

• Saturday, July 28th- Our very own 46th LD!

• Sunday, July 29th- 30th LD, Federal Way

• Saturday, August 4th- 5th LD,  Sammamish/Issaquah

These canvasses are open to all, so bring family and friends! The more people we can involve, the bigger the Blue Wave! You can also share the sign-up link directly on your social media or share the Facebook events posted by the 46th District Dems!
